Who We Are
Stetson Memorial United Methodist Church is a spiritual community that seeks to live together according to the Love of Jesus Christ. Side-by-side, we are growing in faithful living, which renews us in hope. We are becoming faithful followers of Jesus, who freely share the life-changing hope of Christ.
There is a place for you alongside Christ. Come and experience the power of the Holy Spirit with us. May we all changed by his love and share that love and confidence with with everyone.
This is a loving and inviting faith community.
Worship offers a powerful experience of God's presence through the collective singing, praying, exploring scripture, and sharing in the acts that reveal Christ's love.
Personal growth through study of scripture, prayer, and Christian service are offered to all people. These Christian practices help us grow in our relationship with God and with each other. Both service and study are encouraged in equal proportion.
Most of our ministries and studies are led by people in the church. Although we have a very gifted pastor, she encourages us to take on leadership roles based on our gifts and passions. She works with us, so we get the most from our ministries. These new roles, which may only be for short periods of time, offer tremendous spiritual growth.
Church can happen anywhere. It happens when we create learning opportunities that transform lives. It happens when we create safe environments where children can play and learn. It happens when education makes the path to citizenship a little easier. And when our sacrifices help nourish students’ minds and bodies. That’s putting beliefs into action.

Write something about the people who make your business go or your philosophy behind customer service.
Why? Because people want to know who they're doing business with. It's a human thing.
Pastor Ruth is a believer in "P.U.S.H" (Pray Until Something Happens). She calls herself a "Sold Out Chick For Jesus". When not ministering to the community, she is busy raising 3 beautiful daughters and 1 awesome husband.
We are so blessed to have Chuck here with us as musician and worship leader.
When he is not practicing music, running a hunting lodge, Katahdin Lodge, and working a full time job, playing for the local schools musicals, he loves hiking with family. He has hiked Mt. Katahdin several times.
It is an experience to listen to him play the piano...one that you will never forget after the first time.
